Sonnet 13 (رعب)
first the window glass and then the roof beams shattered fragments of people and buildings sift through the rubble to look for meaning in pieces of flesh, in tears and screaming and perhaps you will find truth in chaos and perhaps it will give you some purpose and perhaps it will give you some relief as the bodies pile up around your feet and maybe you will learn the names of some of those small lives shattered beneath the sun or will there be too many to recall after buzzing drones have taken their toll just screaming and rubble and flesh and blood and lives extinguished for an empty god
